Jess Hurwitz to Present at the Upcoming 2016 CMA Shipping Conference

Jess Hurwitz, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Accuritas, will be speaking and presenting at the upcoming 2016 CMA (Connecticut Maritime Association) Shipping Conference in Stamford, CT.

Mr. Hurwitz’s presentation will be at 10am on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in the Grand Ballroom #1 of the Hilton Stamford Hotel and will be titled “Big Data, Shipping – Now Jess_Hurwitz_Accuritas_WebWhat? A Shipping Professional’s Guide to getting started on the Big Data path.” This presentation will be part of the “Smart Shipping Tool Box” program at the conference focusing on big data, automation, software, telematics, cybersecurity, and other data and technology advances in the shipping industry today. The overall theme for the 2016 Conference is “Local Talent, Global Impact.” Other companies participating in this part of the conference include: the International Chamber of Shipping, KVH Industries, Veson Nautical, K&L Gates,  and Elaborate Communications.

The CMA (Connecticut Maritime Association) is the largest commercial shipping organization in the United States. This annual gathering attracts over 2500 people from the global commercial shipping industry and is the largest commercial shipping conference in North America.
